According to the Privatisation Commission, the advisory support will facilitate a transparent and competitive bidding process aimed at attracting leading international airport operators and investors.
The government plans to outsource Islamabad International Airport to a qualified private-sector operator under a long-term concession framework to improve operational efficiency, enhance passenger services and ensure the airport’s long-term sustainability.
Officials expect the outsourcing process to be completed within nine months, while the due diligence phase is scheduled to conclude within the next three months.
