The Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA) has directed all wedding halls, lawns, and event service providers in the province to register with the authority and fulfill their tax obligations under the law.
According to the BRA, the Balochistan Sales Tax on Services Act, 2015, applies to all wedding-related services, including floral decorations and other event facilities. The tax is set at PKR 10,000 per event or two percent of the service fee, whichever is higher.

The authority emphasized that input tax credit or adjustments will not be allowed under this scheme. All businesses are required to complete their registration, pay their taxes, and submit returns on time for each tax period.
BRA officials warned that failure to comply with these requirements could result in penalties and legal action under the law. The move aims to ensure that all event services in the province operate in accordance with tax regulations and contribute to the provincial revenue.
