They added that the Islamabad Capital Territory administration, in collaboration with the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA), has finalised the design of E-Stamp Papers and developed a complete digital process for their issuance.

Expressing satisfaction over the progress made, Randhawa sought feedback from citizens visiting the centre and inquired about any issues faced during the issuance process. He directed the relevant authorities to further simplify the mechanism in light of public feedback to enhance user convenience.
The CDA chairman said the initiative aligns with the Digital Islamabad vision of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and is expected to promote a cashless economy in the capital. He added that the system would facilitate transactions related to property transfers, inheritance, and buying and selling.
He further said the E-Stamp initiative would ensure transparency, help eliminate fraud, and strengthen e-governance by improving service delivery in Islamabad.
