Key components of the project include street surfacing and landscaping, installation of an underground electrical system with improved street lighting, uniform signage for shops, directional signage for visitors, and a combination of hard and soft landscaping to revive the streetscape.
Officials said the initiative is part of broader efforts to safeguard Lahore’s historic core and promote cultural tourism while ensuring that modern infrastructure needs are met without compromising the area’s authenticity.
