Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast a five-day spell of light to moderate rain and snowfall across northern parts of the country from January 30 to February 3, due to a shallow westerly weather system.
According to the PMD, the system is expected to affect Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, bringing cloudy conditions along with rain and snowfall over hilly areas. Snowfall is also likely in Murree and the Galiyat region during the period.
