ISLAMABAD: Chairman CDA Imtiaz Inayat Elahi, while talking to Daily Times, said that ACV was a project of public private partnership and board members suggested that there should be a third party audit and he did not mind. He said it is not correct that there is any corruption in the project.
He said if World Bank financed any project they would monitor it. Chairperson of IHT Sidiqua Malik refuted any claims of embezzlement in the project saying that whosoever has claimed should prove it instead of maligning a great project for the artisans of Pakistan. This scribe took pains to contact former chairman CDA Kamran Lashari for his view on the issue but he could not be contacted.
