It seems that Peshawar has been able to win the trust of well-known and reputable real estate developers for their upcoming projects. Rapid transformation of infrastructure in the city is also speeding up this process, making the available facilities perfect for new residential schemes. The most talked-about upcoming development in the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa these days is DHA Peshawar, which is DHA’s first venture in this city.
DHA Peshawar is not just set to become the city’s top residential address but also a development that will expand Peshawar westward. If more popular names from the real estate industry find Peshawar as attractive as DHA does, the city has more room available for such developments in its eastern and western flanks. This expansion has to be thoroughly researched, well-planned and implemented carefully, however.
DHA Peshawar’s planned location is fairly accessible. It occupies a big chunk of land on Nasir Bagh Road near Askari VI, around 6 kilometres from Hayatabad. As I write this, DHA Peshawar has acquired the required land to develop Phase I of the project. The best part is that there are no land pockets, allowing for DHA Peshawar Phase I to become a completely walled and gated project, which would go a long way towards alleviating any security concerns.
Speaking of security, Operation Zarb-e-Azb has changed a lot in Peshawar, where increased security measures taken by law enforcement agencies and an overall rise in public motivation to curb extremist elements are making the city peaceful. We should all expect Peshawar to once again become a city known for soft music, courteous culture and great food.
The launch of DHA Peshawar has also beckoned back the investors who had fled to Rawalpindi and Islamabad due to the less-than-ideal security conditions of the city. In the form of DHA Peshawar, these investors now have a great new investment avenue.
DHA Peshawar Phase I will have its main entrance on Nasir Bagh Road, where it occupies a 1.8-kilometre front. With a pleasant topography – subtle unevenness and hills visible in the northwest – DHA Peshawar is ready to meet and greet new investors and interested buyers.
While many agents dealing in DHA Peshawar files are quoting different rates, it should be noted that DHA hasn’t officially announced the rates of these files, so I recommend that you don’t consider buying anything before DHA Peshawar is officially launched. Once DHA announces the estate agencies authorised to sell DHA Peshawar files, you can go ahead and make your investments.
Currently, the town planning phase of DHA Peshawar is in progress, which means Phase I will perhaps be balloted sooner rather than later. Probably sooner than many of us expect.
It might take about a week or so before DHA officially launches this project, so if you are also looking to buy a file or two there, you should start conducting your research into how receptive the market is and which agents would be best to deal with. The investment sounds good because all agents and investors in Peshawar are on their toes about DHA. Yes, you will buy the file first, the file will become a plot once DHA ballots phase 1. Rate of file increases with time and keeping a tab on its changing rates shouldn’t be a problem since Zameen.com will actively maintain listings of DHA Peshawar properties.

Good article about DHA Peshawar but I have a very bad experience with DHA Rawalpindi with regard to DHA – Valley. The scheme installment started in 2008 and completed in 2011 but no single plot has handed over to any single person. We have lost money there and as per latest news that till Dec2015 they will start handing over plots but no surety.
I hope the same will not happen to DHA-Peshawar scheme and deliver units/plots well in time.
My question about only how to make sure that DHA will deliver them in time?
How customers are protected legally in case of delay from their announced handover time.
DHA will deliver this time and has delivered all other times expect for once when it collaborated with other developers, who took DHA not as a partner but a competitor and found the best opportunity to defame DHA by delaying DHA Valley project.
DHA Valley investors will not be abandoned as SC is pursuing the matter. DHA Peshawar is unlikely to face such delays because DHA is the only developer of this project.

In my opinion Peshawar is already heavily biased towards the tribe belt and therefore the location of DHA Peshawar doesn’t seems appropriate. To me the natural extension of Peshawar must be towards Nowshera rather. It would have been more appropriate if DHA had acquired land on Peshawar Nowshera GT roadroad .
