Officials also said the digital platform would help monitor suspicious vehicles travelling on Lahore Ring Road, strengthening security and surveillance capabilities.
During the briefing, participants were informed that the Eastern Toll Plaza was previously managed through a third-party arrangement, which had led to operational challenges and inconvenience for road users. The newly introduced digital system is expected to improve traffic management, service delivery and commuter experience.

He added that the digital toll system would promote transparency in toll collection while contributing to better traffic management and improved services for commuters using Lahore Ring Road.
