The meeting also approved feasibility studies for new development projects, including drainage improvements, sewerage systems, street works, and road paving in low-lying areas of the city. Officials noted that water supply had recently improved following rainfall, which restored levels at Sod Dam, while Shadi Kaur Dam and the Gwadar Port Authority plant continue supplying water to residents.
The approved budget reflects the GDA’s commitment to strengthening essential services and supporting Gwadar’s rapid urban growth.
