Gujrat: The Gujrat Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) has launched a drive to beautify the city’s parks and paint the walls of various public avenues.
According to a news source, Inayat Park, the oldest public park in the city, is being rehabilitated at a cost of Rs 1.5 million, and boundary walls around the park are being built as well.
TMA Administrator Mr Farooq Rasheed told the news source that Rs 5 million had been allocated to the beautification of the city, and most of the funds would be utilised in the rehabilitation of parks.
