Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA) on Friday declared various housing schemes in the city to be illegal, a news source reported. As per officials, the Planning and Development Control wing of the authority took action against unauthorized residential schemes in Hyderabad.
Nadeem Yousaf, a spokesperson for the HDA, informed the media that a total of four housing schemes – Zain Cooperative, Mehran Enclave, Rashid Residency, and Mariam City – situated in the district were declared illegal.
As per reports, the managements of these residential projects had invited bookings for plots and built-up units without seeking building approvals from the development authority.
Further, the spokesperson advised the city’s residents against making investments in illegal projects in order to avoid potential financial losses. He added that the authority had commenced with legal action against the administrations of these schemes.
