According to the details, Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan announced that the groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for November 2026.
The 306-kilometre, six-lane M-6 Motorway will connect Sukkur and Hyderabad, completing a key missing link in Pakistan’s north-south motorway network. The project is expected to improve connectivity across Sindh, facilitate trade movement and support economic activity by providing a faster transport corridor between major cities and commercial regions.
The project has been divided into five sections, covering routes including Hyderabad–Tando Adam, Tando Adam–Nawabshah, Nawabshah–Naushahro Feroze, Naushahro Feroze–Ranipur and Ranipur–Sukkur. The land acquisition for the motorway has also been completed, with the National Highway Authority acquiring the required land for the corridor.
