Islamabad: The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (DGIP), in collaboration with logistics and courier company TCS, has launched “Passport Aapki Dehleez Par”, a nationwide home delivery service that enables citizens to receive their passports at their preferred addresses.
According to a DGIP press release, the initiative is aimed at improving convenience for applicants and modernising passport service delivery by eliminating the need for additional visits to passport offices for document collection.
The service was formally launched during a meeting at the DGIP headquarters, where officials from both organisations also reviewed broader efforts to enhance passport services, improve operational efficiency and ensure secure nationwide delivery.

DGIP Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa said the initiative reflects the department’s commitment to making passport services more accessible and efficient.
“By delivering passports directly to applicants’ homes, we are reducing unnecessary visits to passport offices while ensuring a secure and seamless collection process,” he said.
TCS Chief Executive Officer Hassan Raza Leghari said the company would leverage its nationwide logistics network to ensure the safe, secure and timely delivery of passports.
The launch follows the DGIP’s announcement in May that it planned to introduce nationwide passport home delivery and a chatbot to assist applicants as part of its broader digital service initiatives.
