Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi on Sunday announced a PKR 100 billion development package aimed at accelerating infrastructure and public service projects in Peshawar.
Addressing a party workers’ rally in Hayatabad, Peshawar, the chief minister said the mega package would include the construction of a 5,000-bed medical complex, the city’s Ring Road, and multiple underpasses and flyovers along the Grand Trunk (GT) Road.
Sohail Afridi highlighted that Peshawar has consistently supported the PTI since 2013, giving the party a “clean mandate,” and said the government’s focus remains on delivering governance and development to the people.

“The development of Peshawar is a top priority of our government, and these projects will significantly improve the quality of life for its citizens,” Afridi said, reaffirming his administration’s dedication to practical and people-centric initiatives.
