Lahore: Lahore Metropolitan Corporation has recorded a historic increase in revenue from the Transfer of Tax on Immovable Property (TTIP), collecting PKR 8.15 billion during the current fiscal year and surpassing its annual target.
According to official sources, the municipality had set a TTIP revenue target of approximately PKR 6.6 billion for the year. However, collections reached PKR 8.15 billion by June 1, achieving around 135% of the target.
Officials said the strong performance contributed to a significant improvement in the municipality’s overall revenue collection during the fiscal year.

Revenue from map fees also showed substantial growth. Against an annual target of PKR 400 million, the municipality had collected more than PKR 391.8 million by June 15. The Planning Department expects collections to exceed the target by the end of the month.
Sources noted that revenue from map fees had historically remained around PKR 200 million annually but witnessed a sharp increase during the current fiscal year. In addition to property-related revenues, income generated from the General Bus Stand also improved, contributing to the overall rise in municipal receipts.
Officials said the increase in collections reflects stronger revenue performance across multiple sectors, with property transfer taxes and map fees emerging as key contributors to the municipality’s earnings during FY2025-26.
