Lahore: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has reported a record profit after tax of PKR 19 billion for the financial year ended June 30, 2024 — the highest in the company’s history. The company’s Board of Directors, in a meeting held on April 26, 2025, approved the annual financial statements and recommended a final cash dividend of PKR 7.50 per share (75%) for shareholders.
This historic performance marks a significant jump from the Rs10.6 billion profit after tax reported in the previous fiscal year. Earnings per share (EPS) rose sharply to PKR 29.92, up from PKR 16.66 last year. The company also posted a profit before tax of around Rs30 billion.

SNGPL attributed its performance to operational efficiency and resilience despite a challenging global environment marked by geopolitical tensions and market volatility. Notably, the company achieved the lowest Unaccounted for Gas (UFG) rate in 18 years — down to 4.93% — highlighting improvements in system efficiency.
The Board applauded the management’s efforts, crediting the achievement to the dedication of the SNGPL workforce and continued support from the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division). Chairman Ismail Qureshi and Managing Director Amer Tufail both expressed confidence in the company’s strategic direction and ability to sustain this momentum.
