Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Bank of Punjab (BOP) held a high-level meeting on Wednesday to explore potential collaboration aimed at enhancing Islamabad’s urban infrastructure and public services.
The meeting, held at the CDA headquarters, was chaired by CDA Chairman and Islamabad’s Chief Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa and attended by BOP President Zafar Masood along with senior officials from both institutions.

Key discussions revolved around financial and technical cooperation to support the capital’s development and beautification projects. While no specific projects were disclosed, both parties expressed a strong interest in working together to improve service delivery and advance Islamabad’s long-term growth.
“Improving service delivery and urban infrastructure for citizens is our foremost commitment,” said Randhawa, highlighting the CDA’s dedication to elevating civic amenities for residents.
Echoing this sentiment, BOP President Zafar Masood praised the CDA’s progress under Randhawa’s leadership. “The CDA’s efforts in enhancing Islamabad’s infrastructure and service delivery are commendable. We look forward to exploring ways to support these developmental goals,” he remarked.
