Lahore: Lahore Deputy Commissioner Captain Muhammad Ali Ijaz (R) has directed the immediate integration of the Green Property Certificate initiative with the central Plus system to improve the accuracy of digital land records and streamline property transfers.
The directive was issued during his visit to the Shalimar and Wagah Land Record Centres, where he reviewed progress on the digitalisation of Lahore’s urban land management system. He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Hafiz Karim Dad Chughtai, the Chief Officer of the Municipal Corporation of Lahore and the concerned assistant commissioners.
The deputy commissioner inspected counter operations, data entry processes and the issuance of Green Property Certificates, directing officials to ensure 100% accuracy in land records and certificate issuance.
He instructed technical teams to promptly integrate the Plus system with the Green Property Certificate database to eliminate technical hurdles in property transfers and registrations.
The DC said the initiative would modernise Lahore’s urban land management system by providing citizens with easier access to verified land records. He also directed officials to offer complete technical guidance at land record centres to minimise unnecessary visits by the public.
