Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has integrated all property records under its control with the Punjab Urban Land Enhancement System (PLUS), marking a key step toward innovation, transparency, and efficiency in administrative processes.
The announcement was made by Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry during a meeting with PLUS system experts, including Senior Specialist Software Engineer Dr Rana Hamad Hussain, Consultant Software Quality Assurance Usman Barkat, and FDA Director IT Yasir Ijaz Chatha.

Chaudhry highlighted the success of the FDA’s e-challan system and the real-time issuance of ownership clearance certificates, noting that the PLUS integration will further streamline administrative tasks, including issuing town planning reports in record time.
He added that digitization of property records has enabled several services to be provided online, offering considerable convenience to applicants and enhancing overall operational efficiency. The delegation also discussed solutions to address administrative challenges and ensure the system meets the authority’s requirements effectively.
