Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is speeding up the process on lifting the ban on the allotments of alternative plots to those whose lands were acquired by the civic authority, according to a news report. This process is expected to be completed soon, after the ban being in place for eight months.
Some roadblocks cited by Member Estate Khushal Khan included the lack of a director land since December 2017, which has recently been amended with the hiring of a new director. The allotment process is expected to open in two weeks, according to Khan. He further stated that in addition to allotting alternative plots, the CDA will also have to accommodate residents of I-17, where a medical city is to be established by the National University of Medical Sciences.
