Lahore: Patron-in-Chief of the United Business Group and a leader of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), S M Tanveer, has urged Pakistani investors to bring back their investments from the United Arab Emirates’ real estate sector and redirect them towards opportunities within Pakistan.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Tanveer said Pakistani investors should consider reinvesting their capital in the country to help strengthen the national economy and support long-term economic sustainability.
He said Pakistan required greater participation from its business community and investors to maintain economic stability and accelerate growth. “Pakistan needs your support to achieve economic sustainability,” he said, appealing to investors to prioritise investment in their home country rather than keeping capital abroad.

Tanveer also acknowledged the efforts of Shehbaz Sharif and Syed Asim Munir, stating that both had worked over the past two years to stabilise and rebuild Pakistan’s economy.
He noted that the country offers considerable investment potential due to its strategic geographic location, natural resources and growing workforce. According to him, redirecting investments towards domestic sectors could help stimulate economic activity and support national development.
Tanveer further urged members of the business community to explore investment opportunities within Pakistan and engage with relevant authorities to identify viable projects.
“Your country needs your investment, your expertise and your trust,” he said, adding that collective efforts from investors and policymakers could contribute to building a stronger and more prosperous economy.
He concluded by encouraging Pakistani investors to act promptly and take advantage of emerging opportunities within the country.
