Officials announced that the project will be divided into four packages valued at Rs 3.9 billion, with funds released immediately after the completion of each package, backed by bank guarantees. A formal agreement will also be signed between the KP Finance Department, Planning & Development Department, the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Ministry of Communications to outline the bridge financing mechanism and the reimbursement procedure.
The KP government’s support is expected to accelerate the project timeline, ensuring the bypass becomes operational sooner, while reinforcing cooperation between the provincial and federal governments.
