According to an official statement, the chief minister directed authorities to hold a separate consultative session with Hazara lawmakers to finalise development schemes under the special package. He said the consultative process would help design practical and sustainable projects aligned with local needs and priorities.
During the meeting, lawmakers raised the demand for the dualisation of the Haripur–Mansehra section of the GT Road, which falls under the jurisdiction of the federal government and the National Highway Authority. The chief minister assured participants that the provincial government would extend full cooperation and provide financial support for the project.
Discussions were also held on the preparation of the upcoming Annual Development Programme (ADP) and the broader development requirements of Hazara Division. The chief minister said development planning for the next fiscal year would be more impactful than in the past, with a focus on large-scale projects of public importance.
He added that priority would be given to completing ongoing schemes to ensure development initiatives translate into tangible public relief.
