Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has intensified enforcement operations against illegal commercialisation across Lahore, sealing 125 properties during a major crackdown carried out by its Town Planning Wing on Tuesday.
According to LDA officials, the action targeted properties involved in unauthorised commercial activities as well as owners who had failed to pay commercialisation fees.
During the operation, 66 properties were sealed in Canal Road, Gulshan Ravi and Samanabad, while another 24 properties were sealed on PIA Road.

Authorities said an additional 20 properties in Gulberg and New Garden Town were sealed over illegal commercial use and non-payment of dues. In a separate recovery drive, LDA teams also sealed 15 properties in Sabzazar.
The affected properties included private schools, bakeries, pharmacies, clinics, grocery stores, beauty salons, workshops, restaurants, food outlets, shops and offices.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of Chief Town Planner-I Asaduz Zaman and Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali.
Officials said the authority would continue enforcement actions against illegal commercialisation and violations of town planning regulations across the city.
