Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has received approval to construct four new structure plan roads at an estimated cost of around Rs9 billion in a bid to reduce traffic congestion across the city.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved the initiative, which LDA Director General Tahir Farooq described as “another gift for the citizens of Lahore.” He said the new roads would help ease the burden on key arteries, including Nazria Pakistan Road, Peco Road, Canal Road, Ferozepur Road, Abul Hassan Isfahani Road, Jinnah Hospital Road, and several routes in Johar Town.
