Peshawar: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan inaugurated a low-cost, family apartment complex for labourers at Regi Lalma Peshawar on May 19, according to news sources. The complex will feature 2,056, which will be distributed among the workers registered in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The provincial government has reserved 3% quota for widows and 2% for differently abled people.
While addressing the inaugural ceremony, the PM mentioned that his government is focused on facilitating the neglected people as per the vision of the State of Madinah. The government is working tirelessly for the welfare of the lower class by providing housing facilities and health cards, he added.
During the speech, PM Khan also stated that PTI got a two-thirds majority in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa because of its performance. He raised some serious concerns about the growing population and water shortage in the province. To resolve these issues, the PTI government plans on building ten dams including Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand Dam, said Khan. The construction of Mohmand Dams will be completed by 2025 and will supply 300-million-gallon water.
