Lahore: Orange Line Metro Train’s (OLMT) Phase II, comprising of a 25.5 km long elevated viaduct, has been completed, according to a news report. This was revealed during a weekly review held on 21st March, where Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister and Chairman Steering Committee for OLMT Khawaja Ahmad spoke of the completion for this project.
This falls on the train’s route from Chouburji to Ali Town, which initially suffered a lot of delays as the contractor also had to be changed. However, work on it is going on at a good pace. Khawaja Ahmad has remarked this as a great achievement for the engineers and contractors.
