Islamabad: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) will distribute possession letters to the allottees of Sky Gardens Block-A today (Thursday), marking a significant milestone in the execution of its landmark housing scheme.
According to an official press release, Federal Minister for Housing and Works Riaz Hussain Pirzada will preside over the ceremony as the chief guest. Sky Gardens is a major housing scheme comprising 10 blocks (A to K), spanning over 7,725 residential and commercial plots. The possession process being launched today pertains to Block-A, which covers approximately 250 kanals of fully developed land. All essential infrastructure—such as paved roads, water supply, drainage, and electricity—has been completed in this section.
The issuance of possession letters signifies more than just the allocation of plots. It is seen as a fulfilment of long-standing hopes and aspirations of federal government employees who have shown patience and trust in the FGEHA over the years.
“This isn’t just a ceremony—it’s a powerful symbol of the government’s commitment to public welfare and the housing needs of its employees,” stated an FGEHA spokesperson. “Block-A’s completion stands as a testament to our team’s dedication and the effectiveness of people-centric initiatives in the housing sector.”

Further development work is underway in the remaining blocks of the scheme, as the FGEHA continues to expand affordable housing access for government employees.
