Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has invited US investors to explore investment opportunities in the province, assuring them of a transparent, predictable and business-friendly environment with government support and policy continuity.
Speaking at a meeting with a US business delegation at the CM House on Wednesday, Shah highlighted investment opportunities across energy, technology, infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, tourism and logistics.

He said Sindh’s strategic location, industrial base, natural resources and connectivity through Karachi Port and Port Qasim made it a key gateway to regional and international markets.
The chief minister highlighted the province’s potential in renewable energy, technology and advanced manufacturing, citing Thar’s coal reserves, wind and solar resources and extensive coastline.
He also presented several potential investment areas, including the proposed Keti Bandar Integrated Industrial and Maritime Hub, industrial and technology zones, green energy-powered data centres, wastewater treatment and desalination projects, and coastal tourism.
Shah also highlighted Sindh’s public-private partnership (PPP) framework, pointing to projects in sectors including transport, water, energy, technology and renewable energy.
He assured the delegation that the Sindh government would facilitate investors in project development, approvals and implementation. He also announced the establishment of a facilitation desk in the investment department to provide guidance and support to US investors.

Members of the US delegation expressed interest in exploring investment opportunities in renewable energy, AI and data centre infrastructure, healthcare, fintech, technology parks, industrial zones and export-oriented manufacturing.
The delegation agreed to maintain coordination with the Sindh government to identify viable projects and develop potential partnerships.
The chief minister described the engagement as the beginning of a long-term economic partnership between Sindh and the United States and said the government looked forward to translating discussions into concrete investment initiatives.
