Taxilla: The Taxilla-Khanpur Highway carpeting and uplifting work was inaugurated on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, according to news source.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by former National Assembly speaker Mr Ayub Khan, National Assembly Standing Committee on Finance Chairman Mr Umer Ayub Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Member Mr Raja Faisal Zaman, and other well-known personalities.
National Highway Authority General Manager Mr Abdullah Jan said the development work would be completed at a cost of Rs 66 million in three phases.
