Lahore: Akhuwat and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in an effort to facilitate financial literacy in the country, a news source reported. As per details, the initiative aims to help Pakistan’s entrepreneurs in accessing professional support.
Both organisations have decided to collaborate for providing financial literacy to micro-entrepreneurs who would be provided interest-free loans from Akhuwat with an aim to facilitate their business success and sustainability.
ACCA will provide access to the micro-enterprises across Pakistan to access the knowledge and experience of their highly qualified professional accountants without charging a fee. The aim is to help small businesses grow faster and improve economical opportunities.
The agreement also includes ACCA helping students of Akhuwat-run educational institutes in building careers in accounting and finance.
Previously, Akhuwat also received the ACCA Approved Employer status to recognise its support for ACCA trainees working on their ACCA Qualification.
