Lahore: The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) has opened international bids for a landmark five-star hotel and integrated mixed-use project in Lahore’s Quaid District, officials said Friday.
Spanning 41 kanals of prime commercial land, the development is part of the USD1.8 billion Al-Watani Joint Venture and Public-Private Partnership initiative, making it Pakistan’s largest integrated hospitality and commercial project to date.
The project will follow a Design, Build, Finance, Operate & Maintain (DBFOM) joint venture model, inviting participation from leading international hotel brands, foreign investment groups, and global developers.

To attract worldwide investors and strengthen Punjab’s position as a competitive destination for real estate and hospitality, CBD Punjab promoted the bidding opportunity through a major international publication. The initiative aims to transform state-owned land into high-value urban assets, increase foreign direct investment, support economic growth, and elevate Lahore’s commercial and tourism profile.
CEO PCBDDA Imran Amin described the launch as “a defining moment in Punjab’s economic transformation” and reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to delivering internationally competitive projects.
“The project not only provides an opportunity for global investors but also sets a benchmark for integrated urban development in Lahore,” he added.
Officials said the bidding process is expected to attract top-tier international players, reflecting Pakistan’s growing potential in the hospitality and commercial real estate sectors.
