Islamabad: Development work in several new sectors of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) is progressing at an accelerated pace, officials informed during a meeting held at CDA headquarters on Tuesday.
The meeting, chaired by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, reviewed the ongoing projects in Sectors C-14, C-15, and C-16. It was reported that all necessary funds for Sector C-14 have been released, with base work for road infrastructure expected to be completed within the month. The tender process for streetlights in the sector has also been finalized.

In Sector C-15, drainage and sewerage works are nearing completion, while infrastructure development in Sector C-16 is advancing rapidly. Work on electricity supply in both sectors is also underway.
Chairman Randhawa directed the concerned departments to further expedite the pace of development projects to ensure timely completion. He also visited the CDA Model Nursery on Park Road, where he was briefed on its planned upgradation into a “Gardenia Hub.”
