Quetta: Construction work in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta will be carried out as per modern standards and the authority would ensure provision of state-of-the-art facilities, a news source quoted DHA Quetta Administrator Brigadier Muhammad Javed Iqbal. He expressed these views during his visit to the Balochistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
BCCI President Juma Khan Badezai, Senior Vice President Salahuddin Khilji, Vice President Yasin Raisani, and others were also present on the occasion. Brigadier Iqbal promised to make DHA Quetta an exemplary model for other societies to follow.
He said the scheme would have all the basic amenities, besides establishing gaming zones and parks for recreational activities. He stressed the need for collective efforts to make the scheme a success story.
The project is expect to launch sometime during the next year, while land acquisition process for the society is underway. In October, DHA Quetta had invited property agents to register with the authority.
