Islamabad: The restoration work at Gilgit-Skardu Road after it was hit by landslides near Skardu’s Ansar Camp a few days ago has been completed, reported a news source. The traffic on the road connecting Gilgit with Skardu has also been resumed.
The workers of Frontier Works Organisation removed rocks and debris from the road side and completed the restoration process to allow the traffic movement. July and August often see landslides caused by land erosion due inclement weather conditions.
