Rawalpindi: Adviser to Prime Minister on Aviation, Sardar Mehtab Abbasi, has announced that the Islamabad International Airport will be functional by the end of April, according to a news report.
The Prime Minister was thoroughly briefed on the operational preparedness and facilities for passengers. The briefing was also attended by dignitaries from the Aviation Division, the Civil Authority, the Airport Security Force, and Pakistan International Airlines. Mr. Abbasi highlighted that there shouldn’t be any more delays in the project, as it is a mega project aimed at serving 9 million people.
