Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has announced that its next public auction will be held on October 21 at the Expo Centre, featuring a wide range of properties including residential and commercial plots, public utility sites, petrol pumps, marquee sites, and cafes located in LDA sports complexes.
The decision was made during a meeting chaired by LDA Director General Tahir Farooq on Saturday, which reviewed strategies to boost the authority’s revenue generation.

Senior officials, including the Chief Engineer, Additional DG (Urban Planning), Chief Town Planner, Chief Metropolitan Planner, Director of Auctions, Director of LDA City, Director of LDA Avenue One, and representatives from NESPAK, attended the session.
According to the LDA, the auction aims to offer diverse investment opportunities to the public while strengthening the authority’s financial resources for ongoing and future development projects.
The meeting also discussed service enhancement proposals for LDA City Business Bay and other residential and commercial schemes under the authority’s management.
Officials stated that transparent auction procedures and investor-friendly initiatives remain central to LDA’s policy for attracting genuine buyers and ensuring sustainable urban development across Lahore.
