Lahore: In accordance with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and as per the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) recently introduced the facilities for online payments for the public, according the authority’s official Facebook page.
In this regard, the LDA made arrangements to intimate clients about their dues and pending payments via SMS. In response, the client can use their online bank accounts or ATM with 1Link facility to transfer the requisite funds.
The official LDA website has the chalan forms (required to submit the dues) available for download. The authority has also notified that the LDA dues can be submitted/transferred to any branch of Allied Bank across the country.
Reportedly, the LDA recently signed an MoU with Allied Bank for providing online payment facilities to citizens. The online payment facilities will also help people avoid visiting the LDA office or banks to carry out related procedures and keep them and their families safe from the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
