Abbottabad: The authorities concerned have decided to carry out a feasibility study for constructing a road linking Abbottabad city with the Hazara Motorway, a news source reported.
A decision to this effect was made during a meeting between officials of the National Highway Authority (NHA) and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Highway Authority. Lt-Gen retired Ayaz Saleem Rana was also present at the occasion.
The participants reviewed a link road project which would comprise a bridge on a natural watercourse. This facility would prevent major destruction and disturbance to the local population and would prove cost-effective.
Hazara Commissioner Zaheerul Islam said that the officials concerned planned to get this scheme approved from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government.
