Lahore: The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has launched a digitalisation drive to computerise the database of all billboards and hoardings displayed across the city for advertising purposes.
The initiative aims to replace the traditional billing and revenue recovery system with a fully automated and transparent process, ensuring efficiency and accountability.

PHA Additional Director General Zeeshan Nasrullah Ranjha said the move aligns with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision to promote transparency in billing and revenue collection, while also curbing corruption in the system.
He added that PHA remains committed to enhancing the beauty and greenery of the provincial capital. “Increasing PHA’s revenue and ensuring its financial self-sufficiency are among the top priorities of the Punjab government,” he said.
The digitalisation of billboard management is expected to streamline operations, improve monitoring, and support PHA’s broader goals of urban beautification and sustainable revenue growth.
