Lahore: The Chief Executive Officer of Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (CBD Punjab) and Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA), Imran Amin, held a high-level meeting with Ali Mustafa Dar, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Punjab on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Special Initiatives, to discuss the strategic integration of AI and tokenization in ongoing and upcoming urban development projects.
The meeting focused on leveraging AI-driven governance to enhance urban planning, improve data-driven decision-making, and increase operational efficiency across CBD Punjab and RUDA initiatives. Officials reviewed the use of AI for smart infrastructure, digital service delivery, and predictive analytics, aiming to streamline project management and increase transparency.
A major highlight of the discussions was asset tokenization, a concept designed to modernize real estate investment frameworks and improve investor accessibility. By creating technology-backed digital assets, the authorities aim to foster greater participation and build secure, transparent investment ecosystems in large-scale urban projects.

Advisor Ali Mustafa Dar appreciated the proactive approach of CBD Punjab and RUDA in adopting AI and innovative financial technologies. CEO Imran Amin briefed the Advisor on the progress of CBD Punjab and RUDA, emphasizing their vision to transform urban development through vertical growth, sustainability, and smart-city principles. He reiterated the authorities’ commitment to integrating emerging technologies in line with the Government of Punjab’s digital transformation agenda.
The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to develop a structured roadmap for AI integration and tokenization pilot projects within selected CBD Punjab and RUDA developments, signaling a significant step toward the province’s smart city ambitions.
