Moving on, we will now discuss each of the 5 localities, their top sub-areas, and the price range of apartments available for sale there.
DHA Lahore received 25.5% of the total search percentage for the month of April 2019, cementing its place as the top locality with flats for sale in Lahore. In terms of sub-areas, three phases were the most popular for buying a flat. DHA Phase was the most searched sub-district with 36.3% of the total searches. Next in line were DHA Phase 5 and DHA Phase 8 with 22.1% and 9.5% of the total search percentages respectively.
As DHA Defence Lahore is a well-planned community, more and more people are opting to reside here with their families and make the most of the amenities that the locality has to offer. For a young couple looking for a 1-bed flat in DHA Lahore, savings of PKR 1.15 crore to PKR 1.5 crore should be sufficient to buy their new property. Meanwhile, a 2-bedroom apartment in the area can cost anywhere from PKR 1.22 crore to PKR 2.41 crore. Larger flats consisting of 3 bedrooms can be on the market for PKR 1.4 crore to PKR 2.99 crore.
The second on our list was Bahria Town with a search percentage of 7.7% for April 2019. Sector C, Sector B, and Sector D were the most searched within the society, with 31.2%, 21.1%, and 14.8% of the total searches.
Prices of flats for sale in Bahria Town vary as per the number of bedrooms and amenities they offer, and you can find both 1 and 2-bed options here. A 1-bedroom apartment in Bahria Town can be priced at PKR 27 lakh to PKR 55 lakh, while a flat with 2 bedrooms can have an asking price of PKR 52 lakh to PKR 60 lakh.
Askari is a residential area in Lahore managed by the Armed Forces. Therefore, it is not only well maintained but is also quite secure and ideal for buying a flat in Lahore. It also should come as no surprise that it is the third best area to invest in an apartment in the city, with a search percentage of 4.6%. If you wish to buy a flat in Askari, you should consider Askari 11, Askari 10 and Askari 5, as their total search percentages for April 2019 were 46.9%, 33.1%, and 6.7% respectively.
The area mainly offers 3 and 4 bedroom options, with a 3-bed flat in Askari being priced at PKR 1 crore to PKR 2 crore. Alternatively, if you need more space, an apartment of 4 bedrooms can be on sale for PKR 1.3 crore to PKR 2.1 crore.
Another upscale community for the residents of Lahore, Johar Town ranks fourth on our list with 3.9% of the total search percentages focused on it. Its Phase 2 is more popular when it comes to buying a flat in the city, with 53.1% of the total searches, but Phase 1 wasn’t far behind, receiving 45.4% of the total searches in April 2019.
Johar Town mostly offers 1-bed apartments for sale in both its phases, with prices ranging from PKR 22 lakh to PKR 38 lakh.
Model Town is the last on our list of the 5 top areas to search for a flat in Lahore. It is a well-maintained housing society, receiving 2.5% of the total searches in April 2019. Block K is the most famous here, with 10.9% of the searches, followed by Model Town Link Road with 10.7% of the total search percentage. Block Q is the next best area to invest in a flat in Lahore’s real estate market with 9.6% of the overall searches.
In terms of apartments, you can find a range of 2-bed options in the area. Prices for these units start from PKR 25 lakh, going up to PKR 50 lakh.
