ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has provided the Sanitation Directorate with the latest machinery and vehicles to improve waste management and sanitation services in the federal capital.
Reportedly, 11 skip lifters, 13 waste compactors, six mechanical sweepers, six dump trucks and 20 tractor trolleys have been provided to the directorate. With the induction of new machinery, the CDA will ensure proper disposal of 800 tonnes of solid waste generated in the city every day.
