Faisalabad: The Excise & Taxation Department, Faisalabad has set the target of PKR 3 billion for tax collection during the year 2018-19, a news source reported.
The target of PKR 3 billion includes PKR 1.36 billion to be recovered under property taxes; PKR 710 million under motor vehicle tax; PKR 8.3 million under excise duty; PKR 65 million under professional duty; PKR 230 million under excise tax; and, PKR 23 million under luxury tax among others from citizens of Faisalabad. The remaining amount will be recovered from taxes in Jhang, Chiniot, and Toba Tek Singh.
