Quetta: The Quetta master plan envisages the planning and development of several state-of-the-art housing schemes that will feature modern facilities, a news source quoted Adviser to the Chief Minister (CM) for Quetta Development Authority (QDA) Bushra Rind as saying. She expressed her views on the matter during a meeting held to review progress on the development and implementation of the Rural Support Programme (RSP) and the city’s master plan.
She said that the provincial executive wanted to bring the provincial capital at par with other cities of the country. For this purpose, it had included several projects pertaining to the installation of a new traffic flow management system, development of additional housing schemes, and enhancement of roads in the master plan. She added that they planned to develop Quetta as per the vision of the CM for public welfare.
Further, she stated that private housing schemes had been directed to ensure the implementation of QDA map laws in order to prevent difficulties for people in the future. She said that the government was utilising all the available resources for the provision of low-cost housing schemes to the general public.
