In the first phase, some of these flats will be built in Ashiana Iqbal, Barki Road Lahore. The successful applicants will then be required to submit an amount ranging between PKR 239,800 and PKR 319,800 as down payment. There would be a deadline for submitting down payment, the applicants, therefore, should arrange the down payment amount in case they get lucky enough to claim their apartment in Government of Punjab’s Apna Ghar scheme.

A request in the end

People in Pakistan are familiar with the back alleys that lead them to get certain benefits, which is precisely the reason why many such projects in the past failed. Such schemes are meant for people who might otherwise would never be able to have a home of their own.

So Zameen.com requests all readers to help the government provide homes to the needy by not applying for Apna Ghar if you don’t qualify for it.
