Dera Murad Jamali: Balochistan Minister for Irrigation, Mir Sadiq Umrani, on Tuesday unveiled a master plan for the development of eastern Nasirabad, focusing on improving infrastructure, sanitation, and public services in the district.
Under the plan, development projects worth PKR 2.5 billion are set to be executed across sectors, including public health engineering, sewerage, sanitation, and road infrastructure. The initiative aims to provide residents with enhanced facilities and a better quality of life.
Speaking at the launch, the minister emphasized that the master plan would be implemented with dedication and transparency, and no compromises would be made in executing the development projects. He added that the plan would significantly improve the infrastructure of Dera Murad Jamali and the surrounding areas, providing residents with improved roads, water supply systems, and sanitation services.

Nasirabad Deputy Commissioner Zulfiqar Ali Karar, along with local leaders including Sardar Sakhi Shahnawz Umrani, Mir Shoukat Rakhshani, Mir Bilal Umrani, Bashir Nasar, and Abdul Rehman Kakar, attended the event and welcomed the announcement.
The master plan is expected to bring long-term benefits to the people of Nasirabad by addressing essential infrastructure gaps, improving urban mobility, and enhancing public health through upgraded sanitation systems. The projects will be closely monitored to ensure timely completion and effective utilization of resources.
This initiative is part of the Balochistan government’s broader efforts to modernize district-level infrastructure and provide citizens with improved civic facilities.
