Following directives from Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the CDA has intensified efforts to meet the completion timeline. Chairman Randhawa instructed teams to ensure 24/7 work on all sections of the underpass to achieve timely delivery. He emphasized that quality and safety standards must not be compromised under any circumstances.
“The underpass will provide signal-free travel for commuters heading from the New Islamabad International Airport toward Murree and Kashmir, significantly reducing travel time and fuel consumption,” Randhawa stated. “This is a major step toward improving Islamabad’s road infrastructure and traffic flow.”
