Karachi: The Director General Karachi Development Authority (KDA) was reported as saying that an indiscriminate operation had been launched against the land mafia in Karachi in a news report. He explained that during the recent operation, more than 1,500 illegal constructions were demolished and these included 239 residential plots, 8 commercial plots, 503 structures, 344 shops, 188 boundary walls, 12 hostels, 4 hospitals, and more than 17 warehouses and farmhouses. The operation is still in full swing, he added.
