Peshawar: The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has established a committee to finalise the site for dumping solid waste in the provincial capital, according to a news report. The committee was formulated on 28th March in a meeting chaired by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak.
The meeting was also attended by various dignitaries from Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP). These officials have been trying to locate a site for dumping for some time now, and finally asked Khattak to intervene, who called all the Members of Provincial Assembly and ministers to the Chief Minister House to form a committee that would recommend solutions to this problem.
